Qualifications
- Degree in a Recreation Therapy or Human Services field preferred.
- At least two years experience working directly with DD population.
- Prior experience in creating activity calendars, planning community integration activities, or event planning preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with less than five points on record.

Key Duties
The following duties are the primary duties associated with this position, however this position does require additional tasks as assigned that are necessary and appropriate to enhance and normalize the lives of individuals:
- Responsible for creating, updating, managing, and designing full recreation and leisure program with posted schedule that provides a variety of meaningful activities and experiences at the ICF facilities and prioritizes community participation, roles, and connections.
- Arranges transportation, staffing, medical coordination, and logistical needs for community experiences/outings, including providing supervision and supports necessary to ensure all scheduled opportunities are completed.
- Responsible for researching and arranging community experiences, ensuring a menu of offerings to enhance community experiences for the ADS on-the-go and activity stations.
- Works closely with volunteer coordinator to communicate volunteer needs, instructions, meet and greets, event information, calendar of recreation, and follow-up.
- Assists with event planning for assigned company events, including but not limited to, dances, seasonal parties and celebrations, birthday parties, karaoke nights, Caring A Tune, bingo, game nights, sports night features and tailgates, outdoor activities, etc. This includes arrangements for food textures, diets, staffing, logistics, transportation, purchasing supplies, decorations and equipment from preparation, set-up, clean up after event.
- Provides direct supervision of assigned recreation employees; including evaluations, attendance and performance tracking, coaching, training, mentoring, and corrective actions per policy.
Pay Range:
$20.00+ per hour, based on education and experience
Hours:
Full-Time (40 hours per week; flexible scheduling)
