Rex approaches his creative process as a builder and is tactile in his approach to constructing replicas of buildings. He likes to work with cardboard, found objects, metal and wire to make models of houses and buildings. His sense of humor comes out in the portraits he paints, often including witty thought bubbles and social commentary.
