Clarissa “Claire” Hilty loves making art because she can show who she is through her artwork. She often creates portraits of strong women with positive messages about Girl Power and she makes it extra cute with hearts, bows, flowers, and peace signs. Claire feels like she gets to be herself at the studio. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends, participating in Special Olympics and hanging out with her eight crazy cats. She loves Taylor Swift! Special Olympics holds an important place in Claire’s heart. Inclusion is very important to her because everyone that participates in Special Olympics has different abilities and are different ages. It is a place where she can be different and not worry about being judged or bullied about the things she is able to do.
