2021 Exhibition Season

We host a number of curated exhibitions annually, giving the artists we represent the opportunity to share their work with the larger Columbus Community.

Check out all of the great exhibitions in store for this year!

Creating Through Crisis

January 16 – February 5, 2021

As creatives, we often use the act of making to process emotions that we may not always be able to freely articulate. It is in that vein that Open Door Art Studio & Gallery presents Creating Through Crisis, an exhibition of reflection featuring works by the artists we represent and the youth artists of the interim Open Door Pandemic Childcare Center.

With works created while Open Door artists were apart from one another, and works created when we, in some capacity, were able to come back together, this exhibition serves as a cathartic reminder, that we are not alone.

Creating Through Crisis was made possible by a generous grant from the Ohio Arts Council.

New Romantics

February 13 – March 5, 2021

Share your love of art with your one and only, with an exhibition that Saint Valentine, himself, would gush over!

Roses are red, violets are blue, join us for The New Romantics, and find the perfect piece of artwork for you!

Hear Me Roar

March 13 – April 9, 2021

Open Door proudly presents an exhibition showcasing the amazingly talented female artists we represent. Coinciding with Women’s History Month, help us celebrate their talents as they yell, “I am woman, HEAR ME ROAR!”

This exhibition was made possible thanks to generous support provided by patron, sponsor, and CCHS Board of Directors member, Kim Kehl. Thank you!

In Vogue

May 8 – June 4, 2021

Open Door is stepping off the runway and into the gallery with a fashion-themed exhibition full of glitz and glamour.

With inspirations from British streetwear, French couture, Japanese Harajuku, and more, there is something for the fashionista in us all!

This exhibition has been made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship provided by patron and CCHS Board of Directors member, Conner Brintlinger and his fiancé Natalie Wilson. Thank you!
