The Mirolo Sensory Park & Recreational Campus was created to bring people together through recreation, creativity, movement, and meaningful community connection. Thoughtfully designed to welcome individuals of all abilities, the campus offers spaces where people can explore, play, perform, relax, and connect alongside friends, family members, neighbors, and visitors.

More than a park, this growing campus serves as a gathering place for the community—a place where recreation, creativity, and connection come together in ways that encourage belonging and create opportunities for shared experiences. Whether visiting for an event, spending time outdoors, enjoying the playground or sports park, or simply taking a moment to relax and recharge, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

As the campus continues to grow and evolve, the vision remains the same: creating a place where people of all abilities can come together, build relationships, and experience the joy of community.

From recreation and performance to gardening, relaxation, and sensory exploration, the campus is home to a variety of spaces designed to encourage movement, creativity, connection, and community engagement. Whether you’re visiting for a community event, spending time with family and friends, or simply looking for a welcoming place to enjoy the outdoors, each area of the campus offers something unique to explore.

Accessibility and inclusion are woven throughout every aspect of the Mirolo Sensory Park & Recreational Campus. Thoughtfully designed to welcome individuals of all abilities, the campus brings together recreation, performance, gathering spaces, and sensory experiences in ways that encourage participation, exploration, and enjoyment.

Throughout the campus, features and amenities were selected with a wide range of abilities, interests, and sensory preferences in mind. From active recreation and play to quieter opportunities for relaxation and reflection, the Park offers spaces that support different ways of experiencing and engaging with the world around us.

Rather than creating separate experiences, the vision for the campus was to create a place where more people can participate side by side. By thoughtfully reducing barriers and expanding opportunities for engagement, the Mirolo Sensory Park & Recreational Campus helps ensure that recreation, creativity, and community are accessible to more people.

Whether you’re stopping by for recreation, relaxation, a community event, or simply to enjoy the outdoors, the Mirolo Sensory Park & Recreational Campus is designed to be a welcoming destination for visitors of all ages and abilities. Admission is free, and the campus is open to the community throughout the year.

The Mirolo Sensory Park & Recreational Campus was built through the generosity of individuals, families, organizations, foundations, and community partners who believed in creating a more accessible and inclusive place for recreation, creativity, and community connection.

While the Park is now open to the community, opportunities remain to expand amenities, enhance accessibility, support programming, and create new experiences for future visitors. Your support helps ensure the Park can continue to grow, evolve, and serve the community for years to come.
