Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to participate and pass the Medication Administration Course.

Key Duties
The following duties are the primary duties associated with this position; however this position does require additional tasks as assigned that are necessary and appropriate to enhance and normalize the lives of individuals:
- Answer and respond to the on-call phone while on location (and when required to be rotating on-call schedule), to ensure coverage is met as per apartments minimum staffing requirements.
- Completes Needs list (SLING) and shift Reports as required on a weekly basis.
- Document all required entries electronically and via paper for attendance tracking sheets, schedules, timeclock sheets, and all scheduling book contents.
- Updates Employee Phone Numbers in Scheduling Book and on Phone as changes occur.
- Responsible to ensure all schedule/needs list shifts are filled according to staffing guidelines for each shift.
- Must communicate professionally verbally and in writing with all staff regarding scheduling needs, trainings, and follow-up.
- Attends scheduled meetings as assigned-including once a week Connections meeting at the ICF. Stays abreast on changes at the ICF through review of daily meeting minutes from Connections Meeting.
- Completes follow-up and responds to all task grid recommendations, as assigned.
- Communicate and provide shift report with on-coming scheduling personnel.
- Arrange outings, events, bus duty and recreation assistance for all shifts.
- Assumes the role as the Direct Support Professional and covers the apartment staffing needs, as necessary.
- Reports directly to supervisor when staff are requesting a scheduling change, working at 16 hours and or needing a schedule modification.
- Participates actively in staff meetings to obtain and relay information, initiate suggestions, request clarifications, and to group problem solve.
- Communicate with Supervisor and HR as well as Incident Hotline when staff are a no Call No Show to a scheduled shift.
- Will act as a back-up to scheduling department for all tasks when one or more team members are not available.
- Provide a positive support to DSPs in the apartments to promote an overall nurturing and team environment.
- Required Incident Reporting to the Incident Hotline for incidents outside of normal operating procedures, Violation of Resident rights, abuse, neglect, theft, and any other items that are out of the ordinary that pose an immediate risk to Individuals and/or staff
- Assist with emergency preparedness and crisis response where instructed and as needed.
- Acts as a backup for orientation
- Delivers supplies to apartment based on order form
- Acts as a back up in completing water temperatures and physical environment/life safety inspections.
- Complete other tasks that may not be outlined in this description as requested within the scope of the employee’s ability to do so and within reason.
Pay Range:
$18.00+ per hour
Hours:
Monday – Friday
9 am – 5 pm
