Requirements
Must be 18 years old
Valid driver’s license
Proof of car insurance
Must pass a background check
Be able to lift 50lb
Key Duties
The following duties are the primary duties associated with this position, however this position does require additional tasks as assigned that are necessary and appropriate to enhance and normalize the lives of individuals.
Responsible for supervision of Direct Care Professionals during overnight shifts.
Responsible for attendance at staff meetings, and service meetings, as assigned.Responsible for conducting and completing program documentation and behavior documentation audits during overnight rounds.
Provides training for new employees working overnight shifts on all aspects of the facility DSP services.
Responsible for completion of daily rounds forms for all apartments for overnights Monday-Thursday. (submit to designated supervisor)
Responsible to participate in the coverage phone rotation.
Responsible to direct all staff ensuring that all unusual incidents are reported to Incident Hotline and incident reports are written and submitted according to policy.
Assumes the role as the Direct Support Professional and covers the apartment staffing needs as necessary.
Communicates with individuals and staff to establish a home-like atmosphere.
Provides for the safety, health, and hygiene needs of each individual.
Provides for all dietary services to the individual under the direction of a licensed dietician.
Performs all tasks necessary to maintain a clean and sanitary condition of the apartment.
Properly performs individual lifting and transferring as necessary.
Accurately documents for services provided.
Required Incident Reporting to the Incident Hotline for incidents outside of normal operating procedures, Violation of Resident rights, abuse, neglect, theft, and any other items that are out of the ordinary that pose an immediate risk to Individuals and/or staff.
Assist with emergency preparedness and crisis response where instructed and as needed.
Complete other tasks that may not be outlined in this description as requested within the scope of the employee’s ability to do so and within reason.
Pay Range:
Starting at $14.00 per hour
Pay based on experience
Hours:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | 7 pm – 7 am
