As a Human Resources Office Assistant, you would work to inspire the life journeys of current and prospective employees by providing administrative assistance to the HR team. In addition, you would help greet visitors and provide direction and support to meet their needs.
Requirements
Must be 18 years old
Valid driver’s license
Proof of car insurance
Must pass a background check
- General office, typing, and human resources experience preferred.
Key Duties
Responsible to provide support for various HR employee programs within the organization.
Responsible to assist with the timely and accurate set-up of all employee personnel, medical, payroll, and timesheet files as assigned.
Responsible to assist applicants with the online application process at the front desk
Responsible to greet all visitors; answering the phone; ensuring all visitors and callers receive positive customer service; notifying the team of those present for meetings
Responsible to coordinate with trainers to ensure proper room sign-out, room set up; Responsible to assist with the signing out of the equipment for the training rooms such as projectors, easels, etc.
Responsible to assist with the annual All Employee Benefits Enrollment and Education Event.
Responsible for timely and accurate Mail distribution daily
Mailings and clerical work/tasks, as assigned.
Responsible to send employee birthday and anniversary cards
Responsible for maintaining current labels on company mailboxes
Assists with Mock surveys and audits as assigned
Responsible to Enter ISTs and employee change of information forms into software timely and accurately
Orders, fills, stores, distributes Office supplies through online requests; responsible to maintain organization and current inventory of supplies
Assists with employee events, as assigned.
Responsible for completion of BCI and FBI checks for all new hires during Module #1 and for ongoing required by regulation (CEO annual and all other employees 5-year update, etc.) or as assigned. Responsible to ensure that all BCI results are received, reports printed and filed timely in BCI books for all employees. Maintains BCI filing, including re-filing terminated employees.
Responsible for ensuring enrollment in RAPBACK for all new BCI reports received for all employees within 14 days from receipt of the report.
Responsible to report any compliance issue that arises to the Director immediately.
Responsible for entering new employee information accurately into advisor on date of hire.
Arranges meals/beverages and picks up for training, as assigned.
Other duties as assigned by Director or others in HR department; including direct care
Back up for HR duties as assigned
Pay Range:
Starting at $16.00 per hour; pay based on experience
Hours:
Monday – Friday
8 am – 5 pm
