National Direct Support Professional (DSP) Recognition Week is approaching, and we’re honored to celebrate the remarkable people who make Open Door stronger every day—our DSPs.

This year, we’re gathering at Mirolo Sensory Park for a special celebration filled with live music, lunch, raffle prizes, activities, and time to explore the park. Most importantly, it will be an opportunity to come together, connect, and recognize the extraordinary impact our DSPs make each day.

To our DSPs: Thank you for showing up with compassion, patience, creativity, and heart. You encourage independence, create opportunities, remove barriers, and help the individuals we support pursue lives filled with meaning and possibility. Your work is not always easy, and its impact cannot always be measured—but it is felt in every milestone reached, every connection made, and every life enriched.
